WHAT TO COMPOST

Make sure you keep to the general ratio BROWN to GREEN 4 x 1

GREEN (adds nitrogen to the soil)

Fruits, grass, green plants, coffee waste, tea bags, flowers, animal waste and skin

BROWN (adds carbon to the soil)

Leaves and branches, carton and paper, natural fibres(ex, cotton), eggshells, nut shells, sawdust.

To be avoided:

Infected and diseased plants, animal feces, plasticized paper, products that are composted in industrial ways, cooking oil, bones, very salty foods, paper products that have been bleached.
